About us
Jesus Christ is the Head of Tahoe Community Church and we are honored to be group of people chosen by God to be a light in our community. We are guided by a board of Elders who have been called by God and ordained by the church to humbly lead His people. Our elders meet regularly to pray for the ministries of the church and oversee the operations of the ministries.
In addition, we have a board of Deacons who serve the Lord in many tangible ways. Some of the ministries included are: Bible study, children’s ministries, greeters, food pantry, and benevolence. Our deacons meet monthly to pray for you. They also prepare and serve Communion the first Sunday of the month.
What We Believe
The entire Bible is the inspired Word of God.
There is only one true God, revealed through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God as Father is all-knowing, all-powerful and all-loving.
God as Son was revealed through Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, was raised from the dead and sits at the right hand of God.
God as Holy Spirit convicts man of sin and empowers Christians in worship and service.
Salvation comes freely to all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by faith.
Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to earth to judge the world.
