Meet “Steve Galvin.” I’ve known Steve for about 25 plus years. Back then we shared a careless attitude towards life. We made fun of everything; nothing was off limit from our wit. When everyone was going sushi crazy Steve would retort “Hey I’ve got a great idea, how about we make sushi vending machines”
So it was good to reconnect to Steve this last year at our Church, in that Steve quit drinking by the grace of God and became a Christian in rehab. Over the course of Time Steve did some damage to his liver, with a new view on life Steve now wants to live for Christ. Please pray for Steve as he is working his way through a list in hopes of getting a new liver.

Did you know that Dan Peek of the Group “America” went on to record Christian music after America? America is back singing their songs and sometimes comes here to Tahoe, we as a Church should all go to it and turn the concert into an outreach to the lost. Dan Peek Testimony….thank you God for yet another redeemed sinner bought on calvary.
This is Mary, she’s had a hard life, she lost her maid job in June, and is now homeless. This clip is an edit from almost an hour converstaion I had with her at the Driftwood Cafe. One funny thing was that she hates her Dad, but was in tears over the fact that he is most likely in Hell. Even after I explaied forgivness to her she still hates her father. Prugatory, reincarnation, and Karma all fail to fix Mary. Watch her reaction to the gospel, it is amazing…when we explaine grace, it truly will surprize the person. That’s why we call it Amazing! Pray for Mary, if you see her around town, give her some love…

This Summer we have got to know some of the Campus Crusaders, Coby Cotton was the first to share his testimony, but he did leave out some details. His brother, and some of his College room mates are pretty good at basketball…well not regular Basketball. Seen on Good Morning America, and now receiving different offers from other TV shows Colby and his friends are having a good time, and may even make some extra money….Check out their latest Vid…… “Dude Perfect”
I thought I’d show you all what happens during a meeting with someone from our benevolence team. Those of us working in this ministry are, Brad Dorton, Jerry Klosterboer, and myself. Our goal in a first meeting is to show as much of God’s love as we can. We take the opportunity to help them, with rent, gas money for their car, bus tickets out of Tahoe, Power bills, Etc. We believe that God brings us these people who are at a crossroad in their life where they may be more receptive to hear the gospel. In this encounter the interview lasted over an hour, not all inquires take that long. Silvia was very open to talk about herself and listen to the gospel. So what your watching has been edited down to about 10 minutes from over an hour. One more thing you cant see on this clip is the tears, often while speaking of God’s love and our sins, I’ve noticed tears flowing quietly down the checks of those who are hearing the gospel. You may be able to see her demeanor change when I ask her it she had ever told a lie? from that point on the tears continued. I don’t say this in any way to put down Silvia, its her conscience that is being revealed though the law. When you use the law while sharing the gospel, it does a work.
