Creation its hard to deny…

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

I’ve seen this reaction countless times on TV, magizines, movies and news papers. The universe is so amazing how can you not praise God. Don’t harden your heart towards God, he exsists, He has exspectations for you, He has a standard, He has a plan, and He is love. Don’t be a fool…

Psalm 53:1
1 The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.

Romans 1:18-20
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Psalm 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Atheistic Worship…Hey who are they worshiping?

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

Humans love to worship, we are created for God’s pleasure, for his enjoyment:

Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Psa 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Isa 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

I’ve seen this many times from atheists, they, like all of us long to worship,  God created us for his glory and pleasure. Our natural response to him is praise. God’s created purpose is so strong that even those who deny his existence, then prove his exists by illogically praising “Random Chance”. In other words if we just came into existence with out an intelligent being to marvel at, what are these atheists so impressed with? How can they even say anything is beautiful? Is random chance beautiful? Is the universe capable of receiving praise? Who are these atheist’s singing (saying) praise to?

“Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” (Ps. 100:2-3, New King James Version)

Further more, if that isn’t enough to make you stop and think, what about the fact that God tells us very clearly that those who exchange God’s testimony about creation for the lie of evolution will worship the creation not the creator.

Romans 1:25
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

In no way can you deny what this is clearly saying, man will worship and serve created things…now look around you what do you see? Idolatry!

I get asked alot about my young earth convictions. I admit that in the past I was over bearing on this subject. God has mellowed me in this area. I’ve decided to use the blog to post my complete thought on the subject, this way I can cover most the major points that convinced me to Take Gods word on face value. This may take a few blogs to cover all the angles.
The first point is simple, we should give God’s word first place in our world view. The world applauds people who say they are seeking the truth, but as soon as they say, they have found it! The world quickly condemns them, and calls them intolerant. If you have discovered the truth, then anything that doesn’t fit into the truth must be cast out. Sounds simple, but we have emotional attachments to our ideas, and lets not forget pride. If we claim to believe the word of God to be inerrant, then we must view the world with the presupposition told us in the bible.
The world is deceived to think that they do not have presuppositions. they say that they follow the evidence. That is simply not true. Take a look at the planet Mercury for an example, Mercury still has a magnetic field, there must be fluid motions within a planet’s core. Therefore, the core itself must be molten. But as one evolutionist says, ‘Mercury is so small that the general opinion is that the planet [i.e. its core] should have frozen solid aeons ago’. Therefore, the core cannot be molten, and so evolutionary theories would have to conclude that Mercury cannot have a magnetic field. But it does! So do they then conclude that the planet Mercury most be younger? No they speculate that perhaps Mercury’s core isn’t iron (which would have ‘frozen solid eons ago’), but iron sulfide instead (which wouldn’t’ necessarily have solidified over these supposed eons). In light of evidents that says that Mercury must be much younger, do they abandon their presupposition? NO they hang on to it no matter how many theories they have to add to their theories, because they are suppressing the truth in unrighteousness. Take a look at how poorly these so call facts hold up in time, you’ll notice that evolutionist have adjusted or rejected most of what they have believed just 30 short years ago. So why should bible believing people compromise God’s word for facts that don’t even last 30 years?

The evolutionists presupposition makes them reject the evidence that they claim molds their opinion. Mercury’s magnetic field is just one of thousands of facts that point to a young earth. Why haven’t you heard of these facts? Because creationist have little or no money to do the research, no government grants, No school budget, and a hostile media that won’t report anything from the young earth perspective.
So keep in mind that both young earth and old earth world views have presuppositions, as a believer I have no problem admitting my bias, after all I live by faith, so I trust what the bible says.

So if the Bible says God created the world in 6 days, and its reasonable to read the text as literal, I believe what it says. Trying to please the world by compromising the word of God is just not an option, if we start to say that the bible doesn’t mean what it says then will end up debating everything, and reduce the bible to just another option.
