Humans love to worship, we are created for God’s pleasure, for his enjoyment:
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Psa 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
Isa 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
I’ve seen this many times from atheists, they, like all of us long to worship, God created us for his glory and pleasure. Our natural response to him is praise. God’s created purpose is so strong that even those who deny his existence, then prove his exists by illogically praising “Random Chance”. In other words if we just came into existence with out an intelligent being to marvel at, what are these atheists so impressed with? How can they even say anything is beautiful? Is random chance beautiful? Is the universe capable of receiving praise? Who are these atheist’s singing (saying) praise to?
“Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” (Ps. 100:2-3, New King James Version)
Further more, if that isn’t enough to make you stop and think, what about the fact that God tells us very clearly that those who exchange God’s testimony about creation for the lie of evolution will worship the creation not the creator.
Romans 1:25
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
In no way can you deny what this is clearly saying, man will worship and serve created things…now look around you what do you see? Idolatry!
